So, I had a sleepover with my slimefriend last weekend (my friend that likes to make slime), and we got the chance to do an interview about slimefriend's experience with making slime. Here it is!
Q: What's your favorite kind of slime that you've made? A: I really like fluffy slime. Q: Why do you like fluffy slime? A: Because it's so fluffy and stretchy and fun to play with and it's the best slime for me. Q: Where/how did you learn about slime? A: My mom showed it to me. Q: Are you planning to make more slime in the future? A: Yes! Q: Are there any tips you want to share about making slime? A: A little bit of borax goes a long way and if your slime gets sticky and you've already added a lot of borax, try adding some baby oil. And if your slime gets hard, run it under warm to hot water and that should fix it. Thanks, slimefriend!

by SlimeKid So, I've been trying to make clear slime lately and it hasn't quite been working out for me. I've tried two methods: one where you add the activator into the clear glue, and then wait a few days for it to become clear, and the other is a method created by Maqaroon on YouTube where the slime is supposed to become clear instantly.
Method 1. For my activator I use saline solution and baking soda. I add the baking soda into the glue, and then the saline solution. When I first make it, it seems ok, but then after I wait a few days it gets hard and rubbery and more putty-like. It's cool, but...it's not slime! Method 2. I also use the same activator for this method, but I put the glue into the activator (the saline solution is mixed with baking soda beforehand). Here's the link to the video I've been following. Does anyone have any ideas how I can make my slime turn out better? Please comment with suggestions. Thanks! |
