Hi! So, I have tried to make cloud slime a couple times before, and both times it failed. But, a few days ago, I tried again, and it actually worked!! So, I am going to tell you guys the recipe I used. What you will need: White glue The activator of your choice Food coloring (optional) Fake snow Water A bowl and something to mix with 1. Make a over-activated slime in the color of your choice. 2. Activate your fake snow by pouring some water into it. Don't put too much! 3. Mix in about the same amount of fake snow to slime. You may need to add more activator. 4. If your slime needs more snow, add more until it is nice and cloudy. And you're done!! This is the instant snow that I used. I don't know how well it would work with other brands, so I recommend this one. :)

I also plan on doing some crafts and diys too! So, please check out my website at thepeachykeentween.weebly.com. I'll see you there!! Yes, I know this has already been posted, but I wanted to ask if anyone has any questions relating slime. We love getting feedback and questions from you guys, so please feel free to ask! Or, if there is a certain recipe or resource you want us to post, please tell us. :) by SlimeMom
I admit, I've been lazy about posting. I have my own blogs (and of course, work!) and I've been really impressed with how my daughter has just taken off with this project. Though the craft stores seem to be on to the next thing (any thoughts on what that next thing may be??), they are still stocking plenty of glue and slime-making supplies. It's still big in the neighborhood. And this website gets more hits each month. This weekend I managed to clean out the garage. This is big!! We also hosted a garage sale. Because of this, my house became the center of activity for all the kids in the neighborhood. They all put out their unwanted things to sell- and ended up selling them to each other. I opened the garage door to find at least 6 kids in there focused on the project of a large bucket of slime. First there was the making of it, and then...the giant slime bubbles. If you've never seen a giant slime bubble, well, it does seem fun. These bubbles took two kids to make them, one on each side. They each pulled two corners and flapped the slime up and down until it was thin enough, and then WHAP! the edges went down on the floor to create a large bubble in the middle. Lots of fun was had, until one smaller child with long hair got in the way. :( A huge glop got into her hair. She tried to pick out the excess, but she has a lot of hair so there was a lot of slime sticking to it. She didn't want to go wash it, so her mom flopped the slimed piece back and stuck it onto the rest of her hair. (This was upsetting enough to get her to go wash the slime out!) Only a few minutes later she was back as if nothing had happened. Slime is pretty easy to get out of hair with just warm water. I say it's worth it, seeing how much fun those kids were having. And...if you're hesitant to let your kids make slime bubbles, slime doesn't stick to hard flooring. But it does pick up all the dirt that's on it!! ;P By Slimekid Hey people it's me. A few days ago I made this awesome parfait! I know this has nothing to do with slime, but I just wanted to post it. So here it is. Shoutout to my dad for the photography!! Check out his website at: armaturenine.com :) I think I should have a food blog! Tell me what you think; YES! or NO WAY! ok, see you guys next time!! 😁😁
By slimekid Hey guys, you probably saw my previous post where I started a series where I will take a pinterest slime pin and try to recreate it. So, this is the 2nd Pinterest expectations vs reality post, and today I'm going to be trying to recreate this pin. :) So, here's the original vs mine!! Sooooo, I definitely didn't do very well compared to the original, and I didn't get the angle of the picture quite right, but I don't think it was a total fail. For some reason I can never get a good purple color for my slime unless I use a purple paint, so if you have any ideas, please comment down below!! Q of the day; Comment down below what your fav song is!!
Hi guys!! so I am super sorry I haven't posted for so long, I've been planning for a craft fair where I am going to be selling my slimes :) and also I have a science project due in a week, soo.. I'm pretty busy. But anyways, I am going to be making a series of blog posts, hopefully at least once a week, where I find a post on pinterest of a really cool slime, and I try to make it. I haven't really done this before, so it should get interesting... 😂 So, here's the pin that I found, and the one I made!! :) I personally think that mine turned out pretty good, but of course it didn't turn out as good as the original. It is basically unicorn poop slime :P Stay tuned for more of these posts :) Q of the day; Comment down below what your favorite slime is!!!
By Slimekid Hey guys! So, you might have seen a recent blog post about me moving my slime supplies into the garage. I consider myself a pretty organized person, but with my slime supplies, I just kinda threw everything onto the table, and eventually I got tired of it being messy all of the time and decided to organize all my slime supplies. But, I wanted you guys to be able to see what it looked like before and after, so I took some pictures and a timelapse video with my mom's phone! Here they are: Before: And after! Amazing, huh? Here's the time lapse video (It took me about an hour in real time) by Slimekid
Hey guys, it's slimekid! So, you might have seen my recent blog post about cleaning slime off the carpet. I used citric acid to melt the slime, and that got me thinking, if you can use strait up citric acid to completely melt slime, what if you dissolved it in water and used it to soften slime? So, I tried it on one of my overactivated slimes and it worked perfectly!! :) so you might know that you can soften slime with lotion as well, but the problem is, if you use lotion to soften a clear slime, obviously your slime will get cloudy and it won't look as cool. However, if you use the citric acid technique, your clear slimes will be just as clear and awesome as ever!! This hack is definitely going to save me from tossing a lot of my favorite slimes!! :) I hope this hack helped you as much as it helped me, and be sure to comment down below any questions or comments! :) (Here is the link to the citric acid I used) |
